
Emily WIlkinson
Emily Wilkinson is a Principal Research Fellow at ODI and Director of the Resilient and Sustainable Islands Initiative (RESI).
With 25 years’ experience as a researcher, analyst, journalist and adviser, she specialises in climate policy, disaster risk governance, and finance, with a focus on small island developing states (SIDS).
Emily serves as Chief Scientific Adviser to Dominica’s Climate Resilience Agency (CREAD), supporting its ambition to become the world’s first climate-resilient nation, and advises the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) on adaptation.
She has led global research programmes on climate and development, worked in Mexico evaluating national disaster funds, and holds a PhD in Human Geography from UCL.
