Scott Therien

Scott is a happily married father of four, living on the central coast of California. He supports the diverse group of REC Solar’s strategic partners, including EPCs, developers, asset owners, and large-scale energy consumers. He has a strong background in electrical engineering with degrees from UC Santa Cruz and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and he has a subsequent 15 years of experience with business/project development roles within the solar & renewables industry. Scott has played a direct, integral role in the development and successful deployment of well over 100 MW of energy projects for off-takers ranging from the Fortune 100 companies to municipalities to manufacturing & industrial organizations. Today, Scott is focused on leveraging REC Solar’s superior capital financing and asset management to empower our partners with project finance solutions to meet their client’s needs.
